A buddy who does a lot of offroad and backroad driving mounted a GoPro camera onto the HOOD of his Suzuki Samurai. I told him the zuki would rattle that camera into bits in no time but it's holding up and I'm amazed at the quality of still pics he's able to glean out of the thousands taken on a typical trip. He sets it to take a pic every 15 seconds or something. It'll do video as well of course.
