R12 pricing/options

So i got these two 14oz cans of virgin R12 refrigerant that i have no idea what i want to do with...

My Mercedes is siting back home, waiting for me to come back and tow it off to where Im going to live. Im still unsure of my plans for it, but i think in the meantime, the least of my concerns is the A/C system on it.

My grandpa gave me these two virgin cans to use in my car, but i never did.. i have since got my 608/608 cert so all is legal with me being able to have/sell them..

What to do with them?? The prices on virgin R12 isnt that high like i was told here by a teacher ($20/oz, yea right).. so idk

Thoughts? Opinions?

Around here the going rate is >$30 per can. (I've been buying them up)

A local Toyota dealer still had some NOS of 12oz cans of R-12 last year which were being sold for $29 a can.

I want them...

If they don't sell to E150GT, I would like to be next in line. These sell all the time on FleaBay. R-12 "Freon" or refrigerant does not go bad, go stale, or lost any of its mojo while in the can. So, if the can looks funky, rusted, no problems. One needs a 608 cert. license, however, to legally acquire these. I can scan and email that license to you if necessary -- got mine over a year ago.

Thanks !

What is involved with getting the license/certification?

IIRC $20 and about 1/2 hour of your time to read and take an online exam.
