As much as I was rooting for it...

...part of me is saddened at the death of Merle tonight. Darryl was left to finalize it by stabbing his own brother in the head multiple times.

I dig the fact that tomorrow even is the start of the entire marathon leading up to next week's season finale.

You're right...it was a boneheaded move on my part. I'm sorry...

If I start a thread about the show again next week, I'll warn you in the title.

Good episode. I told my wife at the start that I had a feeling one way or another it would be Merle's redemption. Not to gloat but I've felt all along that Darryl would be the only one to "finish" his brother. The weak point for me was when Merle wasn't fast enough to take that clear shot at the Governor when he had it, if only for a split second.

That shot would have been great...darned shame he missed it.

The look of Merle as a zombie, the look on his face as he came after his brother, was amazing.

The makeup artists in the show is amazing....Gross, but amazing. LOL

My son is upset that next week's episode is the end of his zombie fix until the next season. At least there's a huge marathon starting tonight, showing all seasons in order, leading up to next weeks season ending show.

Who know that this show would be the largest and most watched show on cable television? Makes me wonder if any of the big three turned it down before this network picked it up? If they did...that person should be fired. It's one hell of a show!
