Still less creative than a trunk-mounted miniature meth ICBM.

They should have evacuated the store and let him keep cooking it. Rumor has it that meth cooked by rednecks tends to explode -- be a lot cheaper to scoop him into a pail than to keep him in the hoosegow.

Awful that such an iconic Mercedes Benz fell into hands like this.

Moneys short, times are hard. The only people who have the $$ for this type of car may well be working in such an enterprise.

This is true, $500 cash is hard to swing for a car these days.

In "beat up" condition its hard to even give these things cars away, unfortunately.

Was it "beat up" before or after it became a lab?

I have a guess (before) since a meth dealer owned it. If you said anything different other than crack I'd have to reconsider. Where I grew up there is a LOT of meth going around in some circles. Its not a drug where you can get really rich unless you don't use, almost all of the dealers are junkies themselves and pour all their money into their habit. You also use to get a feel for how pure the drug is. I'm sure there are kingpins somewhere, but in my experience it was probably a junker longggg before coming into the hands of a street dealer.

Will the member fess up? Did they confiscate your car. Did not have Colorado licence plates so that thins the possibilities out a bit.

Actually if I was driving around with canadian plates in the american south in an old clunker I would be expected to be pulled over and checked. Not for being a mobile lab particularily either. Whoever it was just is not too bright.
