Good modern twist to an old(er) song...
Found it by accident while searching for Hendrix last night - was surprised that it wasn't half bad....
Enjoy: Devlin - (All Along The) Watchtower Ft. Ed Sheeran Lyrics - YouTube

That guy sure needs to keep his day job at wallyworld or some such.
As a singer he sucks and maybe someday he might actually learn how to play a guitar.

Nothing can touch the Hendrix rendition of Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower".
Total classic.

had I never heard the previous versions I would find his lyrics novel, even poetic and his semi-canned music, interesting. I think he's on the right track. Should probably pick a song less iconic. For example, if he wanted to have some fine lyrics and melody that could stand some work, take anything by Kris Kristofferson. The guy could write. But his melodies aren't memorable.
