Hello from England - London!

Hello chaps!

Thought i'd introduce myself formally on PeachParts (coudn't find a 'New member introduction page')

Have been snooping around on here quite a while now so i thought i'd join!

I'm a pround owner of a 95 W124 coupe. I've had it four years and ever since I havn't stop messing around with it.... for the good of it of course! hasn't let me down once.

The latest project i have going on is an engine conversion, M111 2.2 to M104 3.2. this is being documented on the UK forums and its near its stages of completion. If you want to have a look you can see it here:

For now, here's some pics of my coupe:

Welcome aboard. Your car would fit right in, in LA.

Hey, not sure if you know this or not but .... your steering wheel is on the wrong side of your car ... might want to get that fixed first. ;)

Welcome aboard. Sweet ride.

Got a source for lowering springs?

Welcome aboard.

Thanks guys, I'd prefer my steering wheel on the Left too!

So much so i bought a LH Sportline steering box not knowing they are different. If anyone feels the need they need to upgrade their 124 steering let me know. Its a fully referbished unit i bought from Germany.

its currently on sale on UK ebay.

Regarding the lowering springs, I have a contact yes.

it looks beautiful but aren't there any potholes in the roads over there? I'd not last a day with those rims and tires here.

Indeed, there has been a big decline in road quality over the years in the UK and its getting worse.

The recent cold weather hasn't helped either. The coupe isnt a daily driver for me so its 'acceptable' I guess. Thought this through very carefully before doing any suspension mods.

I know the local roads well so my mind goes in auto pilot knowing exactly where these pot holes are!! If i'm venturing out i'm extra vigilant. Saying that i've been over some pot holes that are unavoidable - and has taken them without too much bother but with a almighty thud and crash that makes you cringe at the wheel. Touchwood the 124 keeps strong with no cracks to the alloy!

Welcome to the forum.

Here's a link for you

(I remembered it as fix my hole dot com but apparently the internet isn't as naive as I thought.)

The right side is the wrong side :D:D:D

Nice car. The 124 Coupe is one of their nicest designs in my opinion. Welcome on board and long may she serve you.
