Let's face it, Larry. For every guy who really knows how to responsibly handle a firearm, there are three who might be semi-competent, and seven who shouldn't be allowed to play with matches. If every single Boston household had all of its adult members packing firearms during this tense period, you know that at least one person would have shot a hole through a paperboy when he was out making his collection rounds.

That wasn't what I was commenting on in particular. GENERALLY, she is one of the top idiots, but the specific comment I have a problem with is her all of a sudden being an arms expert.

I don't disagree with what you're saying, but if they all had shotguns, would it then be alright? It is clear that she wants to ban some particular guns. It is equally clear that she doesn't know jack shyte about guns or much of anything else.

No, what has me wound up is; first of all she did not answer the question, big surprise, then she shifted toward how bad it would be if the people in Boston had "assault rifles." The question pertained to the fact that in Boston most people

The country will, in my opinion be well served when she's finally gone. Though unfortunately as I saw stated somewhere else, she is not the disease but merely the symptom. Her constituents are the disease and will simply vomit up another like her when she's gone.

I support the title of the link, Police presence over individuals with guns (of any kind) during the Boston man hunt.

I think it would have been irresponsible/ill advised for the manhunt to be conducted by a mob of people rather than law enforcement / military.

I would have wanted both suspects to be apprehended alive and tried/convicted/etc as due process dictates.

I am very tired of people saying one has to be a firearms expert to voice any opinion about them.

Lets face it our elected officials are mostly not experts on anything but when there is need for action they have to act. It is their job.

None of us want them to act on anythign that might affect us....sort of a legislative version of nimby.
