Cooper Union to charge tuition

As one of the last tuition-free engineering schools in the States, this is a sad day. Yeesh, talk about bad luck -- basically a $175 million margin call :( Bet that the "investment advisor" son of a whore who conned them into taking that loan still got paid a generous bonus. Hope a subway train and a banana peel take care of karmic justice:

Mostly engineering, with smaller architecture and art departments. Are you confusing it with the Pratt Institute, which closed its engineering school in the early 90s?

No. My wife got accepted into the Art program there. It's very well known.
