My years as a bank teller are the reason I never carry any cash and use it as little as possible.

Seriously though, it only takes a few times 1) seeing where people pull money from 2) seeing where people put money 3) washing your visibly clean hands at lunchtime only to have the water turn black. And you never want to touch cash again.
