I have a friend who's heavily into Formula 1 racing (stayed up all Saturday night to watch the first race and pre- and post-shows). I haven't followed it at all.

He called me yesterday to rag me about Mercedes engines blowing up. Apparently, they didn't do too well in this race. He's also a Finn, and accuses Mercedes of destroying any chance for his Finnish compatriots to win.

Any come-backs I can give him? I don't know enough about it to even respond.
