Car rental question about insurance

I'me heading to Vegas in about three weeks. I reserved a car through Budget using my Visa. Years ago I reserved a car through Enterprise and was told that Visa offers free car rental insurance if you use it to rent a car. I did some googling and they do, but to what extent? Can anyone confirm this?

I have 21st Century auto insurance. Is it possible to apply my personal auto insurance to a car rental for a few days? How does that work?

Most reputable insurance companies

extend coverage to rentals in the U.S.A. If you rent overseas, you may need temporary supplemental coverage.

Contact your credit card company directly for this information. One Visa card purveyor may have different cardholder benefits than another.

Contact your normal car insurance provider as well as long as you carry collision on your normal policy.

Credit card generally covers collision for rental up to 14 days.

Depends on the card, I think it is a visa signature card benefit. You have to decline the car rental insurance and you have to call the card right away if something happens. My auto policy also offers some rental car coverage as well, but I forget how that works.
