Chappelle has been working on his act for a few years. Plays smaller clubs, old and new stuff.

... The small rooms.

I was at the taping of the last Chapelle Show in NY City and met Dave afterwards. Nice guy but really seemed stressed out. I know there was a movie in the works which went South real quick when he abruptly quit the show. His Producer/Partner sued the **** out of him-don't know where that ended up.

On his show he really overworked himself. too many characters and a really short production schedule. Good way to kill yourself.

Glad he is back and hope he met and defeated his demons!

I heard that Wayne Brady kicked his a$$. :eek::D
