This is it.
Other Makes : Pantera Coupe in Other Makes | eBay Motors
Ok, this example isn't quite 100% original, but it doesn't matter. IMO, one of the most beautiful cars ever built. SirNik84 and I have talked about these time and time again - they are one of my automotive weaknesses. Thoughts? Opinions? |
Beautiful car...great engine. Simply stunning...
Get it.
Seems to have a magic shifter gate - there in some photos, gone in others.....
My only opinion about this is that you should get it and report back to us.
Love the MSD boxes shoved under the seats. I remember not too long ago you could pick one of these up for 25k.
Pantera graphic spoils it. Maybe a little corvette touch up paint would get rid of that.
My parent's friends drove one when they were new - it was black on black. I remember seeing it our driveway and wished my Dad would buy one too.
Anyhow, don't care for this example. Bad color with the silly doo-dads, rather would have an original car. |
That looks an awful lot like the one that an ex co-worker recently finished up. Considering it was painted in 2010, in yellow, I'd almost bet on it.
One of those always dominates the classic car races at Lime Rock. Fast, reliable and the drive has brass balls going into the corners.
Best of both worlds, Italian styling with a American HP, and with a 5.0 you can get lots of HP if you want. |
The earliest chrome-bumpered Panteras were the prettiest, but Alejandro de Tomaso didn't exactly sweat the details during the development of this car, and newer is usually better in this model.
Not a 5.0, 351C.
I've never "gotten" the Pantera, but then I never "got" Porsche until I drove one.
Its pretty hard to find an unmolested Pantera...not sure why, but I'd want one that is very close to stock.
