Crosley in Lafayette

The Mrs and I took the grandkinds over there to eat recently and I checked that thing out. Its not in too bad a condidion. No engine and tranny but the floor is mostly intact. It has one seat. I thought I probably should try to buy it.

MIke and Frank from pickers would go nuts at all the vintage graphics.

Richard from Fast and Loud would put bags on the suspension and drop in a crate chevy motor.

Rick Moon (my buddy from Lafayette who is completely ate up with Studebakers) would put in a Studey motor.

The inside is so wide open you could put a Hemi in there!

Its looks were actually improved!

I've always liked Crosley's because of their small size and funkiness factor, but good looking and stylish they were/are not.

I practiced driving a manual trans in a Crosley when I was 15--driving in an old field. Small in every way. Little power. Small tires, little brakes. Not "substantial" by any means. Minimalist.
