Well, I wanted a Ford Raptor...

Then I drove one...

Horry clap.

It is a thirsty little so-and-so. No matter how I drove it, I only managed to get 10MPG. Lead foot, I got an even 10mpg, and driving like a grandma, I got 10.8! Cruising on the freeway, I might have hit 11, but I doubt it...

I will admit, it looks like a thug, and had presence everywhere you go, but I am not sure those looks can make up for that atrocious mileage... Sucks too - I really like them, and wouldn't mind getting out of my GMC and into one.

You don't buy a Raptor for the fuel mileage...

Go big or stay home.

Nothing on a dealer lot comes close.

My second car was a '72 Mercury Montego with a 351W. It was the same way. Highway, I got 10. City, I got 10. Driving like somebody's grandfather, I got 10. Driving like Ayrton Senna chasing Alain Prost, I got 10. When it finally died and I went to a '76 Buick Century that got 18, it was like somebody gave me a small pile of money.

How are a raptor and a duramax even comparable? One is all about image, the other can out tow, out power and out perform with basic mods. Keep the diesel that can do everything, avoid the "I'm cool" mobile

I see a lot of them around me. Mostly driven by white guys in their 30s and 40s with 90s wraparound sunglasses and Tapout shirts.

Plus why would you want a raptor? Only thing they are good for is bending frames...

+1. It should not even be part of the purchasing process either.

Ugh, don't ditch a GM for a Ford. GM makes better trucks.

Say that in Georgia and you'll probably find yourself in a fight.
