Bird food is pretty much similar to what a bird would find in the wild. Peanuts are not what a bird would find in anything but a feeder filled with them. If the guy likes to watch birds, and I do as well, he should use ordinary bird food.
Something tells me there's a lot more to this story than meets the eye. It's one thing to have wildlife in your area but it's also another thing if you do things to attract them. Some birds will eat peanuts but so will squirrels, and racoons, deer, bears, opposums........ all to the annoyance of those who live around you. Yes, it's kind of crazy and over handed, but he kind of did it to himself. |
