VA cops gang up on girls buying ... bottled water

Between the outright murder of an older lady by the Culpeper police and now this, I have to wonder what's in the water in Virginia.
(1) So what if the girls had (zOMG) bought beer? Is it really worth jumping on a car with six-shooters blazing?
(2) Shame that the girls didn't succeed in running the pigs down like rabid dogs. Crippled for life and thus unable to harass any more innocent people would have been an ideal outcome.
(3) Wouldn't approaching people who are buying beer and carding them have the same deterrent effect? (Though personally, I think the drinking age should be 16 or 18, as it is in most countries that weren't founded by anti-pleasure religious nutjobs.)

Wonder if the ABC agents have as much ammo as Homeland Security?

I suspect it is only going to get worse.

These are not your father's LEOs. The old time "serve and protect" guys have retired and have been replaced by punk Generation X, Y and Millennials who think they have something to prove. Your tax dollars at work, again.

Our father's LEOs were the ones who set the dogs on civil-rights protesters. I think the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Well, I think these days it's 'call out the Swat-Team first and ask questions later'.
A few years ago, just starting a trip out of town, I stopped to get a few things at my neighborhood Bottom-Dollar grocery. For some reason my Discover-Card wouldn't work.
The idiot store manager stalled me for twenty minutes to give four of Fairfax County's finest in two squad-cars time to arrive and detain me for an additional half hour.
The lead officer had me dump all my ID and credit-cards at the checkout for inspecton, then finally called Discover's 800 number to verify it wasn't stolen. At least they didn't have their guns drawn!

What if you'd have walked out after telling Mr. Starched Shirt Manager to go make sweet love to himself? Did he pull a gun on you before the cops came?

If something like that happened, you should sue the little kent for all he's worth. Which probably isn't much, but watching his sorry butt squirm would be fun.

Giving ninnies and cretins that sort of power should be a hanging offense. Start with the chiefs who allowed those cops to be employed.

Must have been a real slow night at cop HQ. If they were serious about trying to make a bust "stick", perhaps they should have hung out around the store's cash registers to snoop out any would-be underage liquor purchasers.

But, that would have been too easy.........

Maybe, if I'd known HER sorry butt had called the cops.
Anyway that store has since gone out of buisness (Serves 'em right!)

I think there was something goofy with that account-number. Every time I tried to use it at one certain store, Discover would freeze it. Then it would be declined at my next purchase.
Never had this problem with any of my other cards. Even after Discover replaced the card, it happened again. That's when I almost got arrested. I called Discover, chewed out a supervisor, then decided it was time to stop using that card.
But everywhere else that card got declined, no one ever sic'ed the law on me!

Unbelievable. I've noticed that some store owners are real buddy buddy with the cops and won't hesitate to drop the dime on you. They seem to think they are Dick Tracy and all cops are their "brothers in blue".

Speaking of which, I noticed back when Clinton was president, the Million Mom March against Guns group went to Washington, D.C. to "make their voices heard". Clinton himself rolled out the red carpet, treating them all like "queen for the day" and took them all to lunch. They were protesting those nasty nasty guns, 'ya see.

Next up, a group came to D.C. to protest the World Bank. 19,000 cops each with a big steel jaw chompin' German Shepherd were dispatched IMMEDIATELY to deal with these unsavory types. 100,000 PSI fire hoses were turned on these politically unpopular protestors until they cried "uncle".

I guess it depends what, exactly, you are protesting. One group gets the red carpet treatment, the other group gets the cops, dogs and the fire hoses.
