Karma is much more Newtonian and does not require a super being that requires adoration.

Karma is an unprovable belief system. There are many unprovable belief systems. We choose that which gives us the most comfort.

if it could be measured and predicted, it wouldn't be what it is.....unmeasurable and unpredictable.

if you could know all the unknowables....good or bad ones......life wouldn't be as much fun.

i think we all make our own beds/choices....a beekeeper, no matter how good he is, knows he will get stung at some point. If he can't handle being stung, he should be something else...like an accountant....ummmm...like me!

i know this guy who decided to cheat on his wife thinking she will never find out (different cities on opposite coasts). he might get away for a while but they always either get caught or pay for it in the end somehow.

The underlying question is whether good and being are connected in some way. Plato thought they were synonymous. Most theists think they are pretty closely connected. God has the most being (cannot non-exist) and hence (?) is the most good. Augustine thought only 'Good' existed. There was no such thing as 'evil'. Is 'good' anything more than a human category imposed on experience by human interests? Would 'good' exist without the human capacity for experiencing pleasure and pain? Was anything 'good' around before subjective experience evolved? What's the evidence that the universe cares about justice apart from the human institutions that enforce it? If the universe does care and rewards/punishes appropriately, why bother with human institutions which interfere with that natural process?

By what karma did 19 young firefighters burn to death in their shake and bakes ?

Maybe The Lord loved them so much for their heroics he decided to call them up to heaven. If he's so powerful, why didn't he just make them disappear into the ether and save them having to breathe fire while their skin bubbled and sizzled like bacon in a hot pan?

It's better to deal with angels than a***holes. Choose to be an angel not an a***hole, it's better for everyone. If more people act like angels it makes that many fewer a***holes we all have to deal with. Aquarian Conspiracy

It's better to be X instead of Y but you can't change what we have.
