Do you believe in Karma?
These two events are probably totally unrelated but somehow I think they are.
Yesterday, I almost lost my 190d2.5 turbo in a flood (read about it in the diesel section). The day before, my wife and I did something nice yet anonymous for a needy person. This person is a single mom. she is pregnant and has a 2 year old kid. She is employed (works at the pet salon at Petsmart) but she is so broke that she has listed her belongings on Craigslist for money. She even has her wedding dress for sale. We somehow got a list of her 'needs' and filled part of it. We got her the biggest box of size 2 pamper and wipes, we have also ordered a breast pump which she will need soon. We did this anonymously. We have never met her. We bought it on Amazon and just had it sent. Back to the car...bottom line. Had I gotten there 5 minutes later, the car would have been totalled (or at least a muddy mess). Probably very independent events, but probably not..... who knows! |
You must be living right bro. I know every time I express concern about another woman's breasts to my wife it never works out well for me.

Not meant as an insult but every time I hear the Karma/God is watching over me/I must be leading a good life things I think of the kids in various war torn nations or economically depressed countries or cities and wonder what it is that they did to deserve such bad 'Karma'.
I think things just happen. Sometimes it is good, sometimes not. |
Not sure if I really believe. Circumstantial events cannot be calculated generally in my opinion.
What is common sense though is that if you piss off everyone around you I would not expect good things to happen as a result. |

No. Because of this:

he who lives by the sword, shall die by it.Yes Karma comes around, you do negative things you attract negatives

Glass half full or half empty ??
I believe in whatever happens will happen. How about you decided to take the car with you to the Flea Market? How about the car couldn't start in the garage? Everything happens for a reason, so be thankful that you still have the car but it has nothing to do with karma. If you believe in Karma then that is it. Keep more good deeds coming.

flea market I have had that happen, then hear about a nasty accident
|
I do believe in it, I call it "Reaping what you sow".
|
I believe in reaping what what you sow.
Good things happen to good people...... I just try to treat people as I would like to be treated. Jim |
My karma ran over my dogma.
|
I believe in instant karma. And it's going to get you.
