Communist thug bastard
The people of Illinois have spoken, but thats not good enough for the scumbag govenor
Illinois governor vetoes parts of concealed carry gun bill | Reuters |
So you can't carry more than one concealed gun on you at a time? What happens if you're in a gunfight and you need a second gun as a backup? I usually carry at least 3 or 4 .50 Desert Eagles on me at one time just to be sure that I have some reasonable margin of safety...

10th Amendment comes into play. Let Illinois come up with laws and regulations that best fit Illinois by whatever legislative process is acceptable to the people of Illinois. Good for them.

...and as for denying concealed carry in some establishments which serve alcohol, for the life of me I cannot understand why anyone in their right mind would support such a notion, as firearm possession and alcohol consumption seem to work so well together. What next, the passage of laws in Illinois prohibiting drunk driving? Bunch of pansies.

Sounds like something similar to what one of Texas past scumbag governors, Ann Richards did. Ca. 1990 or so, the Texas congress put forth a bill to provide a referendum that would allow Texas voters to decide whether or not to have a CCW law.
The silver haired witch(spelled with a B) would not allow it to go to the voters for a decision. Not only did this fly in the face of right to bear arms, it DENIED the voting public the opportunity to decide. The hypocracy on her part was that as Governor she could legally carry a firearm and DID. Same kind of hypocracy as that other witch, Diane Frankenstein. I'm glad that witch got run out of Austin. BTW, Texas CCW does not allow carry in establishments that recieve more than 51% of their revenue from alcohol sales. |

Anyone whose politics I disagree with is a witch spelled with a B and a scumbag. And some other bad names too.

There's a difference between a bar and a restaurant that serves alcoholic beverages. It seems that the governor can't see the difference.
PA's law has no provision keeping a firearm out of a bar, and I'm talking about a dive bar. However, the law allows for common sense to be used by the firearm owner as to where he carries. It also allows for the establishment to prohibit the patron from carrying if they so desire. PA has the some of the most lax laws on firearms of any state I've lived in. I have more freedoms here than I'm used to...I like it! |
