P.C. was the closest so I'll let the cat out of the bag

'04 MINI Cooper S. 6 speed, nav, Xenon headlights, sunroof, 17x8 Hamanns wheels, 2% under drive pulley. Picked it up off of a friend. Just need to swap out the supercharger sometime soon, which I have already purchased a good used supercharger off the MINI forum. Which does mean I will be selling the W124 300D shortly to recoup my spending.

I cannot wait to get this thing in

Superchargers, Head gaskets, throwout bearing rattles, AC woes, plastic breakage, early suspension/tire wear.

Welcome to Minis. Lots of fun, good car for an enthusiast but not for normal people.

Must be good thing that I already have a supercharger on the way, planning on putting a clutch in and am also planning on coil overs.

Yes that's very good. I just hope you checked it for head gasket problems. Otherwise all good.

I really like these cars, unfortunately not many end up on my lot because of these issues prompting a trade in.

Recently bought a 2008 S with 75k.

I didn't see that many reports of headgasket issues on the MINI forums. Maybe some over heating issues from failed supercharger PTO's that drive the water pump. No matter what car I go out and buy there will always be some sort of debilitating problem with it. Early Mitata: short nose crank failure, 6 cylinder diesels: poor head castings, Deloreans: everything.....

Seeing as I'm on my second 603 with the crack prone head (gasp!), I shouldn't have an issue. The cooling system on this MINI has been properly taken care of.
