Race and racism from the verdict...

Have you approved of the rallies and outrage since the verdict of the GZ trial? Is racism and race relations portrayed in the media to boost ratings or because racism and race violence is such a horrid statistic in the USA?

Here's some statistics:

the FBI stats for 2007 represent an average year since the Tawana Brawley rape-hoax of 1987, over one-third of a million white women have been sexually assaulted by black males since 1987

An analysis of 'single offender victimization figures' from the FBI for 2007 finds blacks committed 433,934 crimes against whites, eight times the 55,685 whites committed against blacks. Interracial rape is almost exclusively black on white — with 14,000 assaults on white women by African Americans in 2007.

In New York from January to June 2008, 83 percent of all gun assailants were black, according to witnesses and victims, though blacks were only 24 percent of the population. Blacks and Hispanics together accounted for 98 percent of all gun assailants. Forty-nine of every 50 muggings and murders in the Big Apple were the work of black or Hispanic criminals.

I haven't approved of the rallies, but evidently our honorable President has. A President with class and character would come out as a leader calling for calm, regardless of his personal opinion about the verdict.

The silence is deafening.

I approve of the rallies. People have a right to demonstrate and be outraged. The whole First Amendment thing.

So when they get violent, will you still be all for them?

I agree that people have all the right in the world to PEACEFUL demonstration. The chance of peaceful turning to mob violence is ever present.

A REQUEST for calm from a leader, would be a good thing for the country, albeit maybe not calculated by our fearless leader to be good for him politically. His record clearly shows that what is good for him politically, trumps EVERYTHING else.

So far there hasn't been significant violence, and no.

While I may or may not agree with the protests, I approve of the protesters' right to assemble. Sans violence of course.

But before we continue, how come you failed to attribute, with a link, the statistics you directly copied from that Old Bigot Pat Buchanan's piece published on WorldNut Daily??

Black America’s real problem isn’t white racism

Do you think his stats are wrong?

Without any other verification, I won't speculate one way or the other. Buchanan is hardly an unbiased source.

You know who is doing the rallies? See the crowds of 100 or less?

Here's the President's statement about the verdict:
Quote:
The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.

^^^Perhaps Larry is upset that the President hasn't okayed the deployment of police dogs into the rallies in order to obtain "calm".
