Incredible safe plane landing

This guy is some kind of pilot...
How he manages to regain control and put the plane down safely is absolutely incredible.

These planes still flew and were more likely than not engaged in active air to air combat while trying to escape. Fighters like praying on wounded bombers.

There was a bushplane video posted here some time back that looked fake to me. Comments seemed to indicate that it was real.

So... a real plane wouldn't bounce?

I would tend to think that if it were fake, then they would have had the plane in more of the 'shots'
Seems unlikely (even for a producer who was going for the legitimate feel of a camera phone lucky catch) that the plane would be out of the frame for so much of the video.

If it's fake, it's a real convincing job, and if it's real, then that guy is a damn fine pilot (and maybe more than a little bit lucky)

The second picture appears that the right side prop would hit the wreckage, also it appears the left side landing gear is not touching the ground. Our planes landed with massive damage many many times. I read of a b 17 that had so much damage to its tail that once it landed the tail actually fell off, being mostly held by the control cables and rods.
