Anyone want a brand new vintage Chevy?

For all your car nuts out there, don't you wish you could go to a dealership and buy a show room fresh car....well here you go!

VanDerBrink Auctions - Yvette VanDerBrink Auctioneer

Notice all the new Chevy's with less then 20 original miles that were put out in the back 40....50 years ago

Now who wants to venture a guess as to why they were never sold?

I say its because they were special order, damaged or recalled.....Chevy issued the dealer credit and told them to destroy the cars....he didn't and legally couldn't sell them or they were all insurance claim vehicles...

Or maybe they found the portal to the Bermuda triangle?

Many of those vehicles will bring stupid money. There are a few less desirable models though that might not bring so much. The pickups will go strong I bet too. That 396 Impala will bring some dough.

the guy would take alot of these cars in on trade.if he didn't get his price out to the "farm" they went.i see alot of dealers doing this these days.one i used to get alot of cheap cars from, now any car they figure is worth less then $3500 they sell to the buy here pay here place.which they so happen to be part owner.i don't deal with them anymore a-holes.plus this guy was a chevy dealer in small town nebraska population maybe 1500 or so.so if your gonna sell em a new car you best not have any used one's for the people to look at.that impala is weird that it's not an SS with the 396.i kinda like the early 50's suburban and the 53 or so station wagon.and the cameo pickup, that will probably bring 6 figures.

You mean folks aren't going to be clamoring over a beige '77 4 cyl. auto Vega?

I didn't see the Vega. I will step aside so you can get it cheaply, Swamp!

The 396 looks like a car ordered to drag race, no frills maximum thrust, minimum weight.

The Vega might have a resurgence after all the attention on "Mad Men."

1991 Mercedes 350sdl with 58k orig. miles was posted on CL 4 DAYS ago here in Houston, only wanted $2500. First day ,gone. It would be interesting to see these cars run after completing a service run down.
On another note I personal fired up a 70 351 mustang rust bucket after sitting for 15 yrs,had a coke can sized tree growing through the engine bay.The carb was securly covered with lots of plastic and duct tape ,soaked this first , new spark plugs 2nd .Waited a week with marvel down each hole ,changed oil ,it sputtered ,spit ,coughed and clattered ,but it ran , it was an oil burner but showed promise ,sold it for the motor and auto trannie ,most guys and their projects want an otherwise good rebuildable core, this one being orig. with no headers and big carb showed a perfect match for a waiting mustang.

If you ever drove a Vega, you would understand why people started buying Japanese cars.

I saw this during the two weeks I was in Nebraska. Quite a deal! There's a couple, three I wouldn't mind buying at the right price. Some cool stuff out there in Pierce!
