NC about to become one of most small business friedly states
North Carolina's Republican tax reform - Aug. 8, 2013
it seems like they are definitely targeting the small mom and pops with the $50k income exclusion. it will either really take off or crash and burn.

I have never seen a tax system that would be so easy to game. I was wondering when they would discuss the fall in revenue that is so apparent in this scam, and when they say they hope it will be made up in additional business activity it means they know it will not.
What the Republicans hope they just passed was the Full Employment Act for Republicans in 2014. Folks will rush out and vote for them because folks have been told this is a great deal for them. Then, in around 2015 or 2016, as the state sinks into debt, Republicans will come back with 'We are aware of the problems and we need to be re-elected to fix them.' There is a reason other states are not doing this. The biggest one is no one wants to be the cause of their own economic destruction. |

^^^ agreed. Nothing is learned by everybody doing the same thing. Advances come from risk-taking and risk-takers.
Or we can be conservatives and do what we have always done in the past. |
