My Pei was black, my Rescue Am Staff who passed had some white in his jet black coat (looked like he was in a tuxedo), my Miniature Pei is black.

I like all dogs. Black dogs, I have no problem with except taking them for walks in summer where they get very hot fast. Hell, in my circle, it is Wife and I, Our dogs, Other dogs, A few exceptional people and the rest.

That's not only sad, but shows how stupid the general public really is. The best dog I had while growing up was a solid black little dog I named Jingles.

We have been told that evil is usually dark or black. Evil spirits come out in the night and not in the middle of the day in a crowded area. Much like UFOs.

We have a female solid black lab/hound mixed. I don't think her fur is as smooth feeling as the yellow lab but other than that she is a good dog.

They all are good dogs. I haven't met a dog I didn't like. I used to walk the dogs at the humane society that had to be padlocked because they were dangerous. Biggest babies I worked with. Broke my heart when they had to be put down. OTOH, I meet lots of people that should be behind bars or put down.

Yeah, and if someone is stupid enough to turn their back on a dog simply because the dog is black, they might need to be on your list.

I had a black mutt in college named Chicken that was one of the sweetest dogs I have ever come across. My only complaint with him being black was the shedding and the mess on the tile floor from shedding.

When I was younger, we raised black Great Danes...always keeping the solid black ones to show. Best dog I ever had was one of the black Danes...cried like a child when he was put down.

I buy into this theory 100%. I have a solid black Min-Pin (well, he has a little brown here and there) and that is the most focused creature I have ever had contact with. His one goal---- How can I grab all the food in the house before anyone else get's to it?

He is sleek, pretty and looks like a small black Grayhound, but when someone new comes to the house you can see the gears turning in his head while he tries to cipher out just how dumb this person is and how can he con them into giving him everything on their plate?

He is, as Grand-Pa Simpson would say, "EEEEEVILLLLLLLLL>>>>>>!!!!!!!"
