The 135I is a better car if you want something small, I'll never buy a FWD car.

For over $50k that the AMG version costs you can get a good car like a very slightly used CTSV with a stick, or a CPO S/CLS/E AMG.

To me, your statement should've been reversed. Audi has been trying to put itself in the same world as Mercedes. The question should've been, "No way would I consider an S4. It's a $60K car. That's CLA AMG territory".

For the love of God how can there be so much miss information all in one video?

1.) It is not only a FF car. It also comes in AWD.

2.) There is a 6 Speed manual offered. Also a Diesel option is available.

3.) Built in Hungary? So... Some MB's are made in South Africa and the assembly plant has won many awards. Where it is assembled will not alter a quality design and materials. The G Wagon is made in Austria, some E Classes are as well. Hell some S Classes are made in 6th of October City! Still an amazing car no matter what!

4.) Looks like a Corolla? That is subjective...

5.) 8 layers of plastic covering the engine... Well can you tell me any modern car that does not? lol If that is your worry then remove it...

6.) Of course a 300sd is still on the road with 400k miles... it is also 25+ years old. Miles and time is something a new car does not have...

7.) Buy a Lexus LS400? How on earth does that even compare to a CLA? And what BMW compares to this other then the 1 Series?


However, I agree the FWD option is silly, the torque steer is a huge issue, the car is way too small, the price of $29,990 bothers me for a Mercedes and also the fact that a fully loaded CLA on MBUSA will be close to $50,000
