The Uncle Sam ads are just disturbing -- playing on rape fears is shameful.

I asked a friend in advertising what she thought of the 'Uncle Sam' ads and she felt they were a perfect example of how a fool and their money are soon parted.

The 'fears' that the ads are trying to raise are something that older people might relate to, but younger viewers would just think they were stupid since there is nothing there that a young person relates to.

But then the ads don't come at the 'problem' from the standpoint of a solution but from a standpoint of hate. They present the problem but offer no solution.

All in all not something that is advertising, which must present the problem and then educate you on the solution, but something that is propaganda which is designed to scare and leave you confused.
