Wow, I had never heard of this. I know that some people believe English demand for geometric proofs of results from calculus supposedly crippled English mathematical theoreticians. If this geometric result is as amazing as the article indicates it will undermine an awful lot of computational theory. Gawd I hope so! I am so much better at geometry than I am arithmetic.
