Hey, we're Luddite buddies . I think I was hurt because I don't watch TV, I read the paper, I have no social networking profiles, I don't play video games, I don't text, we have a landline, living a religious life is very important to me, my parents were married well before I was born, I have no tattoos, I have no piercings, and I describe myself as Conservative (they had no libertarian option, so I chose what I considered the next-best option).

How millenial are you?-imageuploadedbytapatalk1380337719.732459.jpg

Oh, and I'm 17.

interesting questions.....

I wonder what would happen if I lied on one question.

I scored a 92 and I'm 55.

You are totally a hipster, you just don't want to admit it....

I scored 93, but a few of the questions were puzzlers...
I have read a paper, but it was digital...
I have an old fashioned phone connected in my house with wires, but it is VoIP leaving my house.
I don't play video games, but I do play online Risk... (when ya coming back iwrock?)
I got a bunch of points for contacting a government official (just sent off emails to our reps regarding the chicken-to-china-and-back business, but that was the first time in at least 20 years that I have...

I'm sure you have broadband internet at your house. Try this device linked to a google number. Amazon.com : OBi100 VoIP Telephone Adapter and Voice Service Bridge : Electronics

$39 one time purchase and a free number form google, and all your old phones in your house will still work, for free.
We almost never use ours, but it is becoming the kids 'home phone' number for their friends to call.
Also great for finding the cell phone you left... somewhere....
oh yeah... it's very easy to install, your kids will have it running for ya in no time...
and you can keep your current phone number

Bet I would lose points in the survey if they knew that I refuse to buy my 10yo a cell phone...

It gives you an option to change answers at the end to see how a different answer would modify your score.

The test is weighted for (against?) people who are tech savvy. Some of us are actually employed in capacities that require keeping up with modern advances.
Shouldn't we lose(or gain?) points for being pragmatic and utilizing modern methods to perpetuate our parents teachings of frugality?
And... my job wasn't really modern tech savvy when I started, so because I have remained in the same career path for 25 years, shouldn't I be penalized for that??

Guess I had hoped to score really low.... being millenial just doesn't seem right..

Actually contacting a gov't official seems to garner you negative points -- apparently millenials are politically IN-active.

2, seems about right.

My cats probably score higher, they have heated cat beds and a self cleaning litterbox.

Does calling the cops count as "contacting a government official"? I called them in April after I was the front car in a four car accident, but I put no on the test.
