They are related plants to begin with. Must be pretty pricey if each one is created by grafting and not GM.

They have been genetically modified, as has every traditionally bred hybrid variety. They were not genetically engineered.

Pretty neat though if they finally got them to taste good. "Better than shop-bught" isn't a very high threshold.
