Actually marriage based on love is a relatively new advent. For centuries marriage was a property exchange (who give this women....). Women had no rights and were used to gain alliances and power. This has been discussed quite a bit here but you seem to be content in your ignorance.

As has been proven marriage has changed over the years. So this is just one more change.

I am dying to hear how you equate the relationship between two consenting adults with that of an incestuous relationship. Please explain that one.
