If nothing else it shows how ill-prepared, or inept, the DC police and Secret Service are when it comes to dealing with threats. Imagine if the driver was hell-bent on causing serious harm and mass casualties. Our politicians are "lucky" it was only an unarmed mother with a baby in the car. Thankfully the baby survived.

Unarmed is when she didn't have a car. That is a weapon. Also, it is hard to work since that place is kinda crowded. That no friendly fire occurred was a good thing in my book.

Besides, other than she might be doable from the pictures, all she was isn't going to be missed. We have plenty of Dental Hygienists. Also she was fired for being too rough. Well, we lost a little property but we also got rid of a nut case. I call that a cheap win.

I don't disagree that the car could be used as a weapon. Just responded to chilcutt's question-multiple shots were fired but non were from her. She sure got a fair amount of driving around while the cops followed her in Keystone Kops fashion until the shots were fired. Yes.

What did I say on the other thread. Cops are more & more trending to shoot to kill first & ask questions later...

But I agree with T. I'd like to see the video of the final moments. She was,after all, unarmed. Was she shot while still in her car?

They should not be....but I don't like it when people degrade them and act as if they are all criminals.

I read in the paper this morning she was shot while fleeing after rendering her car undrivable.

You will never see the final moments.

You must understand, it was not just anybody that was threatened by her, it was the Emperor. With the mighty Emperor under attack, all normal rules of engagement are out the window. The cops could do nothing except reply to the Emperor "yes your highness" and go carry out orders. Guys just doing their job.

BS. Don't know if he was around but there were others around. Better one dead psycho than a dead or two dead normal people.

Wouldn't it be interesting if we could somehow get an honest rendering of this quote, from this individual, if this event had occurred while the mighty Shrub was still in office?

I hate to second guess law enforcement in a hot situation like that but would like to see all the film on it.

She could have had a trunk load of ammonium nitrate & fuel mix. When folks do something nutty with the president then they shouldn't be surprised when the LEO's respond at the max.
