Do you think that Sen. Cruz can marshal up enough support to be a Republican candidate for the White House in 2016? How do you think he would use the power of the Presidency to best implement his agenda...whatever it is?

Depends, who else is going to run? Last year's notably weak field led to Gov. Romney, so anything is possible.

Here is a giggle thought (humor)

Baby Herman could be elected with enough campaign money and a workable program + total focus of reducing the - BLOATED BUDGET/SPENDING problem.

If he promised to throw senate and congress out to work - hold session on the street, it would be a landslide with both parties getting their butts kicked.

We could call it the diaper party...

We need a lot more of these shutdowns to identify the Senators and Congressmen who want to keep spending as if there was nothing to worry about.

IIRC, didn't someone say last week that the contention around here would stop if Larry were banned?
The shutdown was never about the government 'overspending deal' (Whatever the heck that's supposed to mean....)
It was all about trying to reject Obamacare.

Even if it were, spending a bunch of money to highlight that we spend too much money seems moronic to me.
