Pamona or Nearby California Peaches members

Anyone here near Pamona with a 18MP or better camera? I'd like to have some pictures taken of something out there before it's removed

Any photo/art schools nearby? $20 on craigslist and you'll have DSLRs lining up

the problem with art students is that. Art. I just need simple point and shoot pictures, not something artsyfartsy. as for pamona. I dont know. never been there. there is a historic thing there going to be moving very soon and I'd like a picture of it in pamona before it's moved.

I live very near Pomona.

What do you need a picture of, and when do you need it?

edit....my point and shoot is a Nikon Coolpix S6500. It is 16 MP. Is that a problem?

16MP is fine. Are you familuar with the fair grounds? namely where they have trains? Union pacific has a big boy there. the worlds largest steam engine. they are prepping it to move to Cheyanne Wy to be restored to active service

Is it in the Fairgrounds or outside of it?

If it's outside of the fairgrounds, this would be a quick, easy thing to do. I live only 5 miles away, so it's a quick drive.

If I have to get inside, I'd have to plan this. My friend lives in the hills just above the fair grounds, and is given free passes every year, so getting in is no problem.

It's just a very big place, and going there, parking, etc. and walking around is kind of like going to Disneyland. It's a time commitment.
