I live in the capital of Hipsterdom: Silverlake. The car of choice is the Prius, 300D/TD/CD or a Yaris. Mini's seem the be hip to, for the more older hipster.
But I did notice the 560SEC is getting populair with the top tier of hipsters, I see some model type hipsters in them.

I've had my 560SEC for 11 years. Heaven forbid I be classified as a hipster . But what do I know ... I'm a 'totally unhinged troll'

I was at the grocery store a whole ago. The 30 something guy at the counter was buying canning jars. 9 in the morning, flip flop wearing and reaked of bo.

Started to talk to me an the cashier gal about how he was going to make orange marmalade. As if we asked...or cared.

Also my neighborhood in Houston has one or two moped enthusiast groups who ride around in a pack. One has a Vespa style one w a sidecar. Neat, but kinda toolish at the same time.

So yea. And a far as w123s go, they get a primium if they are a diesel and a wagon. But those appeal to a big market of people.

And don't forget the 80's volvo wagon...so they can hook up their happier camper and go clog up all my favorite camping spots up Big Sur.

Nothing more hipster than drinking a $7 PBR and looking down your nose at Coors Light and Bud drinkers.

You guys are confusing True Hipsters with wannabe hipsters. True Hipsters only care about one thing.

You must think of hippies. Hipsters are young people with enough cash flow coming towards them by their parents to sit in a coffeeshop all day and write a script, novel or the best new thing on the interweb we haven't heard of yet.

Real hipsters don't drive cars, at least in Seattle. Fixie bikes are the only acceptable mode of private transportation.

They don't really bother me. Seems a style thing more than anything. Have a good friend who would be described as a hipster, but employs about 40 people in a extremely busy fabrication company he built. Many of them also look like hipsters.

People will pay $9.00 lb. for potato salad 'cause they are fools.
