Special Project

Cool, cool, cool!!! The museum just asked me to work on a special project that requires under hood and under car investigation on the Duesenberg J's at the museum.

No I am a volunteer. Just one of MANY. I think last year there was 10,000 volunteer hours at the museum. It takes a lot to keep the place going.

I'm sure you need to drive it home for the weekend to figure it out, right?

I volunteer at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum in Auburn, Indiana. It is an amazing museum. I wish I worked there full time.

Even better
It was not until I rode in a Duesenberg Model J that I caught the snob factor of one of these. There have been many amazing cars made since the Model J, but there is something about the Model J that feels like it is the all time king of everything ever made, period.

As Jay Leno said, the Duesenberg is the best car in the world.
