Yes, but that's for another thread.

Go for it! I'd do it if I had the opportunity.

One of my pipe dreams is a tuned and lowered 2wd regular cab Cummins Dodge 2500, shortened for a 6.5' bed, dually fenders, big-@$$ Mickey Thompsons stuffed under them to attempt to get the power to the pavement. Kind of like a modern interpretation of the Li'l Red Express.

I could have a LOT of fun with that and still get 20+ mpg's.

I read the thread title, and thought you had finally lost your mind...then realized you were talking about parts for the truck.

With studs, no.

With the planned mods, yes!

If I build out my lower end, the sky is the limit. (with reliability!)

That would be pretty slick daily driver! Regular cabs can be had fairly inexpensively.... You should do it swamp!

Parts to build my Ally out are sitting at home. She's going under the knife for the trans build in January.

making your existing truck into a unique to you monster will be a lot more fun than buying a new toy same as everyone else's new toy.

After this mod, he can probably tow your 300D with you sitting in the car flooring it in reverse... and not even notice it until he smells tire smoke. If that's not sweet, I don't know what is... .
