Oldschool 1981 1980's Diamondback II bike stolen in Elk Grove, CA
The thieves are out there.....
My brother is despondent over this. He let his son ride the bike to school. Only caveat here is that his son decided to leave the bike and walk over to a coffee shop after school on foot (with a girl!), leaving the bike alone until 4-5pm. It had an U-lock on it, but the thief apparently had a "master key" to get it unlocked. Sigh. Must have looked over it good... It was gone by then. Guard your oldschool BMX bikes. Give the kids the Walmart Chinese bikes instead. Really... |

Nice bike - sorry about the theft. Keep an eye out on Craigslist and eBay as well as bike forums. I'd also file a police report - that way if it comes up on the classifieds, you can notify the cops and nab this prick.

Old BMX bikes are getting worth a lot.
