IS MATH A DEAD ISSUE IN DC ??

IS MATH A DEAD ISSUE IN DC ??

$5 BILLION DIVIDED BY 330 MILLION (US 2012 Census)

=

$15.15 million dollars for every man, every woman and every child who is an American. Wouldnt that solve a whole bunch of medical issues even very very serious ones ??

Another ObamaCare Cost: Feds gave $4.4B to states for exchange websites | Fox News

Math is a dead issue for you(*) -- it's about $13.33 (no million) per US resident. And frankly from what I've heard, the states have done a better job with their exchange sites than the Feds did with healthcare.gov.

(*) - I suppose it could also be $13,333 if you weren't raised in the US and learned "billion" as 10^12, but that still doesn't make sense.

The above is an exercise in arithmetic and not mathematics. So undoubtedly the answer to your question is yes, math is dead for the masses.

$15.15 will get you a bottle of Tylenol Extra Strength Caplets on Amazon. Great, but likely won't cover the parking charge at the hospital.

It may, however, cover the co-pay for a simple, non specialist, doctor visit.

Each billion would allow for 3 million for each American.
330 x 3 = 990
5 billion ?
