John Cleese once commented that reunions have been planned in the past but Palin always backed out. The rest of them had decided that a reunion was an all or nothing thing, so until Palin decided to join in it was a non-starter.

This should be interesting. They have had so many years to hone their routines that if they are not perfect by now they never will be.

Groucho Marx did a stand-up routine at the age of 92 and it bought down the house. I would expect no less from MP.

I hope they can pull it off. I really enjoy(ed) them, but I wonder how they can do something new that's funny. Not sure rehashing the same old classic nonsense is going to be funny now.

True. Since remakes are such darlings in the entertainment biz, maybe they'll just remake the MP movies? ;)

I just don't want this to turn into another Paul McCartney thing. I mean, give up, Paul. You can't sing anymore. We have records and CDs and itunes.
