He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Since there were no recorders back then we'll never know what Lincoln actually said. Its interesting that Lincoln hand wrote four copies if I read correctly, two with God and two without. Sounds like he was careful not to play favorites!
 I don't seem to remember reading where he was a muslim lover either.
