Yesterday picked it up with the new shocks installed. The serpentine belt idler had come loose and was re-attached as well. The difference in feel with the new shocks is just awesome! It sits up on the gas now and feels firm but controlled. I find myself wanting to drive around some curves just to feel it work. I still have not changed the fuel filter yet.

Drove to Nashville TN and back over the weekend with the black Mercedes. Ran flawlessly, AC blew cold, smooth and very quiet even when cruising at 80, which I did nearly all the way there and back.
It really does not have a lot of torque though until wound over 3000 rpm, so if I don't really concentrate in traffic I can end up with a big gap while it winds up. I am anxious to check the fuel economy after the trip back. All highway with some nice tailwinds in KY.
