Man, weight control is a pain now that I have some gray hair. It is creeping back up again. I still fit the 32 waist pants but my weight has been back up in the mid to high 190s for the last couple months. I was in the low 180s since I started back to the gym.

I have been going, with fair consistency, to the gym since late March. The gym won't make up for eating habits, no way, no how. I am still struggling to eat better. My best results are from filling up on good stuff so that I don't have the room or the appetite for the bad stuff.

Now comes the holiday season. Time to be merry and gain a few. I ain't going over 200. I'll move out in the woods and live on grubs first.

I was looking at my pilot's license the other day. I need to take a physical and go flying.

I am not nearly obese but I struggle to stay near the normal range. I would still look good at 230 or so if it wasn't all on my belly like it is on most people my age. Looks aren't it for me.

Health is my motivation for weight control. Besides avoiding the whole blood pressure/diabetes syndrome the rewards in comfortable joints and basic bodily functions are worth it. I also still need to pass physicals.

Jabba the Hutt is what we're talking about. I calculated what I would have to weigh to have a bmi of 40, and it's 219 lbs. I'm 5' 2" btw.
