Vehicular Bucket list

This is my current vehicular bucket list. Has changed thru the years but these are ones I think I'd feel comfortable achieving if I can.

1990 - 1999 Suburban. Summer -weekend shooting range - vacation vehicle. (summer as its the only one on the list likely to have functioning a/c.)

W115 220D. Want it as my prime late fall - winter - spring driver. Realistically will substitute any good W123 as circumstances dictate.

Pre 1967 Beetle. Backup car for any emergency situation and just the general "coolness" factor. Ironic how my thinking has gone almost full circle since I was a kid. Used to hate beetles with a passion. Now. I think they are one of the all time great automotive icons.

- Peter.

Later (early-90s) VW Microbus set up for camping. Or a similar setup in a Grumman postal delivery "jeep."

I miss my 93 half ton 4x4 Suburban. What a great truck.

Harvester pickup
another Benz
A not-thrashed P71 cruiser
An FJ80

If I win Powerball or sell the ranch, which are both equally likely, a Morgan, maybe an Allard for Sundays.

I don't think I need 4x4 but other than that I agree.

I picked up a 93 GMC 2500 4x4 pickup with a 6.5 diesel recently. I was looking for either a pickup or a suburban for a towing vehicle. 104k miles. Seems ok. I'd hesitate buying a post-93 6.5 diesel because the IP's are electronic then and diagnosis is trickier than on the 93 mechanical pump.

That was sort of my intent. There are plenty of dream cars I'd love to have but I'm thinking in terms of affordability and maintainability as actual usable vehicles. Not just toys that sit in a glass case or projects permanently in pieces.

Honestly;...I've married cars that I only wanted to date.
I Bought many a "bucket list car" realizing I really just wanted to drive it around for a day and walk away.
Sadly;...After owning like 250 cars; there isn't anything left on my bucket list I want to own. But there a lot of cars I would like to drive around for an hour.
Most any real Ferrari, a well sorted 911s, 1957 300slr, and some orphan cars.

The car I really want, hasn't been built yet, mainly because Apple doesn't build cars.....Yet.
