If you had a Chrystal Ball?(and it worked)
Who would be the fairest of them all, ....no just kidding.
Which auto manufacturer is in the best position ($$$) to output on a large scale.... a cheap electric vehicle that would make the transfer to electric vehicles more mainstream....like flipping a switch. (Think about the Ford Taurus/Tempo craze of the eightees. (like Bic lighters...those, things were everywhere) Would you buy stocks in that company, if you knew ahead of time? (of course) |
When I was a kid in England, all the milk delivery trucks were electric. I don't know what happened to that company but it was well positioned to build electric ars.

If I had a crystal ball and it worked, I'd be hitting Powerball for like a half billion. On a smaller scale, if I had known when the company I work for was trading at $40 a share that it would be up to over $80 in about a year, I could have doubled my savings.

I'll be surprised if they can make it fly, too many obstructionists. If I bought an electric car today it would probably be a Nissan. The Volt is probably more practical because obstructionists are trying to make sure you can't conveniently recharge your car. With the Volt you can get home on gas.
DIY Electric Car Forums - Electric Vehicle Build and Conversion Community As far as the investment angle goes, you have to find people who can make money that they want to share. |

Some of those guys are taking old forklifts apart for their electric motors and swapping them into old gas/diesel powered vehicles. It looks like some of them have even coupled the electric motors to the old transmissions in their donor vehicles. Thanks for the link. |
