If you do not wish to stay on the topic then that is up to you, but your comments make little sense when you change the topic in mid conversation.

Long ago I was employed by a firm that only allowed us to speak to each other through memos. At the top of each form was written "Address only one topic per form". Anyone who ignored this directive three times was shown the door.
This post addressed two topics, so that is strike one against you. You brought it up, I didn't. So after two more strikes do you leave voluntarily or need to be shown the door?

That had to be a great place to work, no talking only memo's. Did they have an interest in a pulp paper plant and needed to fill some capacity?

Perhaps they wanted records of all communication. Seems like a good idea to me. When talking In person you are much more likely to veer off onto the football game or a tv show too.

Sounds like it must have been a government job now that I think of it. That would mean more guaranteed votes from more patronage workers, I mean patronage doers. Maybe two people to file all of the memos from each worker. That would mean an immediate two hundred percent increase in employees, what a great idea to solve the unemployment problem. Not to mention the extra pen's and pencil's. Why stop there they need a place to store those memos so a few warehouses with staff to store, retrieve when needed, copy incase more than one needs them at the same time, so on, full employment right around the corner.

HAha thats a good one. I was going to suggest that no one would write a memo if the coffee supply, or A$$ wipe was low everyone would be yelling then.

Are we far enough off topic yet? Or raise the tax on A$$ wipe, and coffee and leave fuel prices alone.

Just trying to make a friendly suggestion for you.

A very quiet circus, except for the noise that crumbling paper makes, and foot stomping.
