Wife or Harley .. decisions decisions

CL ad.

Personally I think the bike is worth more than the wife but what do I know. It will certainly cost less to maintain.:D

if my wife ever told me,''its me or the bike, boat, truck, ect'' id show her to the door. not because i didnt wanna get rid of the item, but that would just piss me off to no end

My wife knows better than to give me an ultimatum like that. It's not that I'm a controlling bastard, which I'm not...it's that I'm not one to be pushed around, it pisses me off.

No I would not trade the wife for anything. Really. Cash talks though.:D

Reminds me of the guy that picked up a native hitchhiker in his pickup. He noticed the guy was staring at the case of beer on the floor. So mentioned he got the case of beer for the wife as he did not want to appear to be hoarding it. The native was quiet for a moment and responded good trade.

She looks like she could give $5900 of fun.

That woman has self-esteem issues. Putting her own value on a par with the bike was a fatal mistake.

Ideally, people should enter a marriage or relationship fully knowing the dreams and passions of each other. I just think it's a serious injustice by one person to ask their mate to give up a hobby or pursuit that means so much to them.

Of course, unless the hobby includes infidelity or some trivial midlife crisis pursuit. I'm talking about real, lifelong interests.

Take the Harley. I've got the '59 model wife and although I'd never let her go for sentimental reasons I've noticed she is getting harder to start in the mornings. I'd thought about kick starting her but my sense of self-preservation ruled that out.

I turned 50, bought a Harley and divorced the first wife after 23 years:). Best move I could have ever made. Would not take anything for the current Ms engatwork:D.

When she says; "cancel or postpone the wedding?" never choose postpone. ;)

But you would only get it one dollar at a time.

Cannot really go much lower in price than that.:D Does she come with all engatworks stuff?

This reminds me of a divorced French guy we ran into in the islands. His wife said it was either her or the boat...he took off from France in his boat with his new 30 year old GF and never looked back.:D
