Lexus forum accusing Nissan of copying them

http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=269298

I found this post to be hilarious. The Lexus boys are whinning about how Nissan used design cues from the GS when designing the new Altima. Aren't all Lexus vehicles copies of either MB or BMW products?

Haha.

All I can do is laugh.

in fairness to them, the GS looks like an original. It was designed by ItalDesign (Giugiaro). The first GS300 looked bland and did not really take off, so they altered the look a bit in the GS400 (which looks awkward to me from some angles)

the other products are composite sketches of other brands
* the LS400 unashamedly tried to copy the W126; the new LS430's flanks resemble those of the W140
* the SC430 takes some cues from an Audi TT, but(t) uglier
* the IS300 tried to mimic the BMW 3-series, not just externally, but architecturally (proportions, inline6, rear-drive)
* the Toyota Sequoia looks like a Ford Expedition

i guess that's karma ...

Did anyone notice that "1sicklex" has what appears to be a CLK pic posted under his user ID?
