The aesthetics of some are nice, even if they don’t have a dust cover (wtf?), but I get a vague sense that some may be just a tad over engineered.

Dust cover . . . what a joker.

No dustcover because don't you already have a positive pressure dust free room?

i will stick to my stanton..

Question: For those with a turntable the automatically places the arm on the vinyl, do you have no choice over which song to start? You just have to hear the whole record out from start to finish?

MTI 12-09-2013 07:11 PM

There were turntables that read the track spacing on vinyl with a reflective light sensor.

My old linear track Technics is like that.
Want song 4? hit the next arrow 4 times.

Really lost a lot of it's hip factor when CD's came out.

Of curse, who even listens to CD's anymore? They are the new cassette.
